About

The Christians that often do the most in this world, have their mind set on the next. – C.S. Lewis

Just a servant of the Lord, my thoughts are often drawn to the Most High and the unfolding of His kingdom. My aim is to view all of eternity through the clear light of Christ and His Word. While I don’t consider myself a professional writer or a highly educated individual—and often relate to the humble words of Moses—it’s by God’s amazing grace that I’m steadily growing in the knowledge of the Lord. Here on this site, you will find a list of many articles, sermons, and studies that have been compiled for the benefit and growth of believers, written within the protection of our core beliefs. What you’ll find below are some of the core beliefs and convictions that have shaped our perspective on eternity and are rooted in Biblical truth.

“Oh, my Lord, I am not eloquent, either in the past or since
you have spoken to your servant, but I am slow of speech and
of tongue” (Ex. 4:10).

Covenantal – Confessional/Creedal – Calvinistic

Covenantal theology understands that God has always related to his people according to a covenant. This approach provides a way to interpret the entire Bible, highlighting God’s plan of redemption throughout history.

Confessional/Creedal refers to the beliefs that have been upheld and affirmed by the historic Christian Church. Creeds and confessions are useful only to the extent that they reproduce faithfully the teaching of Scripture itself. Below you will find the Three Forms of Unity, which are foundational for many Reformed Christians.

The Belgic Confession, The Heidelberg Catechism, and the Canons of Dort.

Calvinistic means that we believe that salvation is a miraculous work of God that transforms a heart completely in rebellion against him. With emphasizes on God’s sovereignty, the depravity of humanity, and the doctrine of predestination.

Total Depravity – Unconditional Election – Limited Atonement – Irresistible Grace – Perseverance of the Saints

“In essentials unity, in non-essentials liberty, in all things charity”

If I find in myself a desire which no experience in this world can satisfy, most probable explanation is that I was made for another world. – C.S. Lewis

Sola Scriptura – Sola Fide – Sola Gratia – Solus Christus – Soli Deo Gloria

Great theology leads to great doxology!

I believe in God, the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.

I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit
and born of the virgin Mary.
He suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried;
he descended to hell.
The third day he rose again from the dead.
He ascended to heaven
and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty.
From there he will come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic* church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen.

*that is, the true Christian church of all times and all places
